Fallen Patriots Honors PTSD Awareness Month

Jacksonville, FL. – Memorial Day was created to ensure the nation was given the opportunity to publically demonstrate their appreciation for the sacrifices and successes made by our service members, past and present. PepsiCo’s Rolling Remembrance Campaign Will Benefit Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

In remembrance of military members who’ve lost their lives while serving the United States and in honor of the surviving families, PepsiCo has launched a 5,000-mile relay across the country that began in Seattle and will end in White Plains, N.Y. on May 24th to help spread awareness for Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots). Using normal business routes, U.S. Military Veteran PepsiCo drivers will pass off a flag to each other at 31 different relay points.

Jacksonville, FL —The Junior Board of Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation is hosting the second annual Red, White and Blue Gala to raise funds for Gold Star military children, or those who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Fallen Patriots provides educational counseling and scholarships for college tuition and college oriented living expenses. The event will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 7 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. at Pier 61 in New York City.

Send a Virtual Hug to a Gold Star Child Who Doesn’t Have a Parent to Hug Anymore

Jacksonville, FL. — Since 1996, American citizens have identified March 4th as Hug a GI Day to honor and appreciate the United States military.  In honor of Hug a GI Day, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, (Fallen Patriots), a nonprofit that provides educational counseling and college scholarships for military children who’ve lost a parent in the line of duty, is collecting “virtual hugs” in the form of donations.  Over 97% of those killed in action are men, leaving mothers, who earn on average less than $50,000 per year, with the financial responsibilities of raising a family.  Donors can text “College” to 31996 to make a contribution.

Jacksonville, FL. —Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation (Fallen Patriots) pays respect to all soldiers who have served honorably from the Revolutionary War to today’s operations. During Black History Month, Fallen Patriots will remember the instrumental accomplishments of past African American leaders, while also celebrating future history makers. The importance of selfless service to humanity without regard to race, ethnicity or religious beliefs will be stressed during the month long campaign.

A college education is the single most important gift all Gold Star military children can receive. Fallen Patriots is dedicated to serving all branches of the armed forces, regardless of race or cultural background.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation Honors Selfless Acts

Jacksonville, FL. — Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation will launch its Selfless Acts campaign, honoring different Selfless Acts that our fallen patriots have achieved. Soldiers that died in the line of duty acted on the ultimate selfless act, sacrificing their lives for our continued freedom. Four Chaplains Day, the anniversary date of when four United States Army chaplains gave their lives to save other civilian and military personnel as the troop ship U.S. Army Transport (USAT) Dorchester sank on February 3, 1943 during World War II, will be integrated into the month-long campaign. Fallen Patriots will stress the importance of selfless service to humanity without regard to race, ethnicity or religious beliefs, just like the four chaplains did in February 73 years ago.

Jacksonville, FL. — The beginning of a new year provides an opportunity for Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation to reflect on the success of the past year and the growth of the year to come. As the foundation rapidly expands, Fallen Patriots is excited to announce they are relocating their headquarters to Reston, Virginia, located 20 minutes west of Washington, DC. The new location will provide more strategic opportunities to better locate and serve the 20,000 Gold Star children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. Fallen Patriots will maintain a presence in Jacksonville, Florida, but will officially move into their new headquarters March 1, 2016.
